07/27/2021 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 (HS) Joshua is a coachable OF/SS prospect who worked hard on his skills during the National World Series at Pirate City. In the field, Joshua shows active footwork and is agile moving to the ball. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. His exchange is clean and he gains ground well on his throws, keeping them accurate to his target. Long tossing can help Joshua build up his arm strength. At the plate, this switch hitter sets up in an open stance with loose hands. He gets into a simple load and rotates his core through his swing well, driving the ball from gap to gap. Joshua can barrel up more baseballs by working through a shorter, more level swing path. Overall, Joshua is a solid prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.
