Pop times showed a range of 2.65-2.75 with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to drop builds more arm strength through a long toss program and works to get rid of the baseball quicker. Receiving / blocking skills shows as playable tools at the next level as he continues to improve. At the plate, Lumbreras is a switch hitter and shows a squared setup with balance. Hands are loose and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent contact, mainly to the pull side. For hitting grades to continue to improve, he needs to load more, attack ball with hands, and increase bat speed. Power numbers will continue to improve as he learns to use his lower half more. With 2 years to further develop, Joshua has abilities with time and room to continue to improve.
