06/18/2016 - Omaha National World Series - Session 1 Joshua is a R/R 2B with a solid frame and strong lower half. He is a very coachable player who works very hard day in and day out. At the plate, Joshua sits in an athletic set-up with good backside and hip rotation to assist his quick hands and spray the ball across the diamond. Joshua stays square and linear to contact while focusing on staying inside the ball. Defensively, Joshua is patient with the ball and displays natural ability to pick out hops before he gets his momentum going towards his target. He works light on his feet taking good lateral angles and shows clean glove to hand exchanges allowing for good accuracy. Working on a long toss program will help Joshua gain some carry and life on his throws. Overall - Joshua is entering his senior season and shows good abilities both at the plate and defensively to make an impact on the diamond.
