01/15/2016 - Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Joshua is a very intriguing prospect with an impressive set of tools and a bright future. He has an athletic 6'2" frame, runs well and showed his explosiveness with a 9'0" broad jump. Combine that athleticism with his baseball skills and you have a very talented player. Joshua has quick hands and a level path with a good feel fro the barrel. The ball comes off his bat with authority. Defensively, he glides to balls in the outfield, makes plays and throws accurately. As a 2017 grad, this young player should begin to garner a lot of interest as he will be an impact player at the next level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
