Joshua showed well on the mound and at the plate during his last workout in Trenton. On the mound, Joshua has a loose/free arm circle, he works well to his balance point, and his FB touched 80 MPH. He separates on time, has good feel for his off-speed, and he shows good command of his pitches. Offensively, Joshua improved his hitting and power grades to 45 and 50 respectively. He has good balance, activated hands, and good barrel accuracy. He has a middle of the field approach and pop in his bat.

Joshua continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At the plate is where he has improved the most through a tall setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. At 1B, he displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Hands are clean and he presents on time and out front. Feet are aggressive as he attacks balls and plays through with his body. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 71 mph. Fastball showed a range of 69-71 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with arm side run. Getting on a long toss program to develop more arm strength will aid in improving abilities on the mound. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.

Joshua is a 1B/RHP who will graduate in 2021. Defensively at 1B, he displays active footwork with loose actions. He comes up with a clean exchange and makes accurate throws to his target. On the mound, this RHP stands tall with a 3-pitch arsenal. He keeps his eyes on target, works downhill and pounds the zone with strikes. With the bat, Joshua shows a quiet setup with fluid rhythm. He rips his lower 1/2 through and drives pitches with hard contact from gap to gap. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

1. Lower 1/2 drive
2. Strong frontside
