07/28/2017 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 (Ages 14-18) JT is a big two way 1B/RHP prospect who will graduate in 2019. At the plate, he displays a simple approach getting good weight transfer from his back side to his front side. He leads with his backside and creates a level swing path staying in the zone for a long period of time. He hits hard line drives and gets good carry using the whole field. In the infield, he takes good angles at first base and fields the ball out in front. He also shows the ability to pick balls out of the dirt efficiently working from ground up. On the mound, he throws a fastball, curveball, and changeup with a repeatable delivery. He commanded all three pitches and showed a good feel for the curveball having good depth. Being more fluid with his mechanics will help increase his velocity. JT is a projectable player with two more years to develop.
