01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (TX) Juan is an athletic 1B prospect who showed well during the Pre-Season All-America Tournament. Offensively, Juan can really swing it from the right side. He is smooth to load and drives through well with his lower half. He generates fast bat speed through the zone and drives the ball to his pull side with authority (90mph exit velo). In the field, Juan gets into a low position and fields with soft hands. His exchange is clean and he makes on-line throws to his target. Overall, Juan is a talented prospect who has the skill set to contribute at the next level.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.
