Judah continues shine on the diamond at the Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament. On the mound, this lefty has a 3 pitch arsenal in which to keep hitters guessing. FB shows a range of 75-80 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 1/7 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with arm side run. Control is solid as he attacks hitters and throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

Judah is an OF/LHP prospect who continues to showcase his skills on the field. In the field, Judah shows active footwork and covers ground well. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He makes a clean exchange and gains momentum well on his throws, keeping them accurate with carry through his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and shows smooth rhythm. He takes a direct swing with fast bat speed, leading to loud contact and gap to gap pop. On the mound, Judah works with a quick arm and extends through his release. He stays inline towards the plate and finishes square to his target. Judah shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 77mph. Breaking ball sits from 64-67mph with 1-7 break. He works with a loose arm and extends through his release, staying inline towards the plate. Judah shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 79mph with sinking action. Breaking ball sits from 64-67mph with 2-8 break. Changeup sits from 67-70mph with sinking action. In the field, Judah shows active footwork and covers ground well. He fields the ball out in front of his body and makes a clean exchange. He throws from a high 3/4 angle and gets good carry through his target. At the plate, this LHH sets up in a closed stance and takes a short stride. He is smooth getting into his load and hits against a strong front side. Judah continues to work hard to develop as a nice two way player in the 2020 grad class. On the mound, he has a nice simple, left handed delivery. Mixes in 3 pitches, a Fastball ranging from 76-79 mph, a 66-60 mph Curveball and a solid Changeup he throws deceptively at 70-74 mph. Shows the ability to command his arsenal and get hitters out. Defensively, a solid Outfielder, works well to get behind the ball and plays through both on the ground and in the air to create great momentum to throw crisply and accurately to his targets. Has a good glove and a clean exchange to throw. At the plate, he stays loose and has a nice simple load to create good rhythm. Works directly to the ball, stays centered and can spray the ball to all fields. A tough out for sure, finished up his tournament with 3 straight base hits.

Judah is an athletic LHP/OF/1B prospect who continues to showcase his skills on the field. On the mound, Judah repeats well and works with a clean arm action. He shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 78mph. Breaking ball sits from 65-68mph with 2-8 break. Changeup sits from 65-68mph as he throws with deceptive arm speed. Judah can improve as a pitcher by gathering to a balance point over the rubber. In the OF, Judah gets into a square position and fields with firm hands. He makes a clean exchange and gains momentum well on his throws, keeping them accurate with good carry through his target. Judah can improve as an OF by attacking the ball more aggressively. At 1B, Judah shows active footwork and covers ground well. He gets into a low position and fields the ball out in front of his body. Judah continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. At the plate, power potential is now outstanding through an athletic / squared setup. Hands are quick (86 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields and shows a feel for the barrel with baseball jumping off when centered. At 1B, he displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Glove action is soft / sure and presents well out front. Feet are aggressive as he attacks balls through a low approach. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. On the mound, delivery is sound and repeatable allowing his arm action to work well to the plate. Fastball shows a range of 75-76 mph. Breaking ball displays 12/6 shape with gradual break. Control is outstanding as he attacks hitters and throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, works hard, and is very coachable.

At 1B, he displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. He presents his glove well out front and showed the ability to pick balls out of the dirt. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. He takes an aggressive swing with plus bat speed (86 mph exit velocity) which leads to solid contact. He has strength in his swing and shows a feel for the barrel with gap-to-gap pop. On the mound, delivery is sound / repeatable allowing his arm action to work free to the plate. He shows good tempo through a strong balance point and throws from a 3/4 arm slot. Arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 76 mph. Fastball shows good arm side run. Breaking ball displays 3/9 shape with across break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with arm side run. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

Judah is a talented LHP/1B prospect who has a lean, athletic build and graduates in 2020. On the mound, Judah has a balanced, simple delivery that he repeats. He has an on-time separation and throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a loose arm action. He extends through his release and stays square to home plate with a controlled landing. He effectively uses his front side and rotates with his core towards his target. Judah has tail movement on his fastball. He also throws a deceptive changeup and decent curveball. In the field, Judah plays with effective footwork and smooth rhythm. He presents his glove and fields the ball in a low, athletic position. Judah has a clean exchange leading into a loose arm action throwing from a 3/4 arm slot. He plays with good momentum through the baseball showing consistently online throws across the diamond. As a left-handed hitter, Judah has a square, athletic stance with a centered balance and firm front side. He has smooth rhythm with a good load and short, square stride. He stays short to the baseball and gets good separation with his hands. Judah gets good rotation in his swing and shows consistent contact. He is a contact type hitter who can drive the ball to the pull side gap. Overall, Judah is a versatile prospect who can effective the game on both sides of the ball giving him a bright future on the diamond.

Judah showed as a LHP and at 1B for the first time at the event. He continues to show improvements and has a promising future on the diamond. Foot speed has really improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At the plate, hitting / power potential has improved. He makes consistent contact and shows good barrel accuracy with power showing best to the pull side. At 1B, he displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Glove action is firm but will benefit by presenting more out front. Feet are active as he attacks balls, playing through well. On the mound, delivery is sound / repeatable allowing his arm action to work free to the plate. Arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 70 mph. Breaking ball displays 2/8 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup but throws the pitch too hard with velocity close to fastball. Control is well above average as he throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

Judah is a hardworking, coachable player who showed as a great teammate at the event. At 1B, he displays smooth / clean actions. He displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. He moves well laterally displaying range to both sides. Glove action is soft / sure but will benefit by presenting more out front. At the plate, this lefty has a balanced setup with patience. Hands are loose and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent contact, mainly to the pull side. Power will increase as he works to utilize his lower half more aggressively. On the mound, fastball shows a range of 60-66 mph. Control is outstanding as he attacks hitters, locating to both sides of the plate. Getting on a long toss program will help to increase arm strength which will aid in his development on the mound.
01/15/2016 - Baseball Factory National Spring Training at Pirate City
Judah is the type of player that will continue to develop and take his game to the highest possible level he can. Throughout the Baseball Factory National Spring Training at Pirate City, Judah got better every day in every area of the game with his aptitude and coachability. Offensively, he was aggressive with his approach, getting to a decent position ready to hit, on-time. He tracked the ball well to contact and got his lower half through the zone well. In the cages, he worked on accelerating the barrel and being more direct with his path. Defensively at 1B, he moved well laterally and got to his fielding position on-time. He worked to get his hands further in front to field more cleanly and also worked to quicken his release to throw. On the hill, he had a good tempo with loose arm action and repeatability. Working on becoming more explosive with his actions and adding a secondary pitch will elevate his game. In all - Judah is a young ball player that has time on his side to add strength and explosiveness to his game for the next level.
07/13/2015 - Interactive Video Program - Carrollton (DFW), TX
Judah is a young LHP who graduates in 2019. On the mound, this lefty throws a FB & CH from a 3/4 arm slot and loose arm action. He locates his pitches well and hits his spots, throwing strikes. FB ranges from 56-58 mph while showing run. Changeup has sink & run as he throws it with FB arm speed. Offensively, O'Neal has rhythm in his hands and works back into a loaded position. He gets good separation, swings on a level path and sprays the ball to all parts of the field. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.
