09/19/2010 - College PREP - Milwaukee, WI Justin is a lean, strong, 2-way player that Catches and Pitches. He currently projects better behind the plate as he enters his Sophomore year. Defensively, Justin has quiet actions, he holds a low target, and he looks the ball in. He has soft hands, he blocks the ball well, and he moves well laterally. Justin lets the ball travel, has a clean exchange, and he delivers the ball accurately to his target. If Justin can widen his base and continue to add arm strength, solid Catching skills can get even better. On the mound, Justin has a loose arm, he repeats his delivery, and he keeps his eyes to his target well. He gets to his balance point well, he has good glove side lead, and is around the plate with all if his pitches. Justin can get better if he can improve his off-speed pitches and avoid falling off to the 1st base side. Offensively, Justin has average balance, bat speed, and barrel accuracy. He shows a middle approach and he puts the ball in play. Offensive numbers can get better if Justin can tap into more backside and add bat speed.
