12/07/2014 - National Tryout - Grand Prairie (DFW), TX
Justin continues to work hard on his game. At the hot corner, he shows active footwork and aggressiveness coming to get the ground ball. He works to field the ball out in front, gathers well and has a clean exchange to throw. Using his lower 1/2 to gain ground toward his target will help to add strength in his throws to 1B. Offensively, Justin shows patience as he lets the ball travel into the hitting zone. Swing path is level as he works to stay on top and down through the ball. More lower 1/2 drive and extension through contact will help to increase power at the plate. Only a 2019 grad - Justin still has a ton of time to develop his skills.
