Justin is a long, lean 1B prospect who plays the game hard and does whatever it takes to get better. He has really improved since we last saw him, showing a stronger arm and the ability to hit the ball harder. He shows very solid at the plate with an aggressive approach and a big swing to attack the ball. He gets on plane early and works on a level path to the ball, delivery the barrel consistently to make solid contact. At first, he has efficient feet to work around the bag to field and receive throws. He fields square to the ball and centers it in his body to make clean plays and throws accurately to his target. Speed and agility drills will help him extend his range and improve home to first times. Justin is an intriguing prospect we look forward to continue watching.

Justin is a big, young 1B prospect who works hard and tries to get better every time he's on the field. He's a solid defensive first baseman as he makes the routine plays and keeps the ball in front of him. He shows feel for the position with his footwork around the bag, looking to shorten throws for the other infielders. He holds runners on well and is a big part of shutting down the opponents running game, while being able to get back and field his position. At the dish, he has an activated load to a powerful bat angle to be ready to launch through the zone. He shows a patient approach in the box with good tracking ability to stay in the zone and make pitchers work during his at-bats. Two ball soft toss will help improve barrel accuracy and lead to more contact and base hits moving forward. We look forward to watching as Justin continues to develop.
