01/18/2019 - Baseball Factory Spring Training at Historic Dodgertown Justin is a coachable 1B/LHP prospect who worked hard on his skills during his time at the Spring Training at Historic Dodgertown. In the field, Justin takes a good first step and displays active footwork. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball with soft hands. He makes a clean exchange and keeps his throws accurate to his target. Presenting his hands more to the ball can help Justin improve defensively. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an atheltic stance and takes a soft stride. He takes a level swing and drives the ball to all fields. Justin can improve as a hitter by activating his hands more in his load. On the mound, Justin starts with a simple rock step and separates his hands on time. He works with a clean arm and keeps his pitches around the zone. His fastball tops out at 53mph. Finishing with his chest over his front knee can help Justin improve as a pitcher. With four more years to develop, Justin has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.
