08/02/2017 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (Ages 14-18) Justin is a broad-shouldered, strong-built 3B prospect who has a well-rounded skill set and graduates in 2018. As a right-handed hitter, Justin has an open, athletic setup with his weight in the front of his stance. He takes a load with an open stride as he uses his lower half throughout his swing. Justin shows fast bat speed with a long swing path. He gets strength behind his barrel and uses his size to his advantage. Justin has the ability to drive the ball to the pull side with power. At the hot corner, Justin plays with active footwork and quick reactions covering good ground in each direction laterally. He fields the ball with a firm glove and has a clean exchange leading into a long arm action throwing from a high 3/4 arm slot. Justin does a nice job playing through the baseball producing consistently strong throws across the diamond. Overall, Justin has talent and a projectable skill set giving him good upside to take his game to the next level.
