07/12/2009 - Team One South 2009 Justin is a young two-way player on the mound and at SS with a long, lean frame that shows projection as he continues to fill out. Currently, he projects best on the mound where his baseball future lies. He utilizes his long frame to work on a strong downhill plane creating tough angles on hitters with his fastball. Arm strength is outstanding as indicated by his top velocity of 88 mph. Fastball is heavy with plus life showing run and sinking action. He works both sides of the plate with his fastball as he is not afraid to pitch in. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with sweeping action with gradual sharp break. Changeup shows plus feel for with run and sinking action. He attacks hitters as he throws strikes with all his pitchers and changes speeds well. He resembles Jeff Weaver type delivery and stuff. Potential on the mound is tremendous with a huge upside. He will pitch in the Under Armor All American game in Wrigley and will be a solid 2010 draft pick.
