10/18/2017 - Arizona Junior Fall Classic Justin continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a well above average runner at 7.01. In the OF, actions are smooth, clean, and quick. He reads balls well off the bat and utilizes his athletic feet well in tracking down balls through proper routes / angles. Range is a plus as he utilizes his foot speed in covering a lot of ground. He works behind the baseball and plays through with momentum to his target. Hands / feet work well together as he gets rid of the baseball quickly with outstanding arm strength with throws showing life and on line carry. At the plate, he continues to shine through a squared setup. Hands are quick (85 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. He shows a feel for the barrel with baseball jumping off the bat when centered. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.
