02/25/2018 - College PREP - West, TX Kade is a quick twitch athlete with solid tools all around the field. He really busts it down the line and in his turns, showing off a 7.03 60 time. At short, he covers plenty of ground up the middle and in the hole to make tough plays. His hands are smooth and quick to field and get rid of the ball on DP's and throws. At the dish, he uses all fields with good barrel accuracy to hit the ball hard consistently. His lower half is engaged to generate bat speed and pop as he shows gap power. Extending through contact will unlock more power and extra base hits moving forward. Kade is a well-rounded prospect with lots of potential on the field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "present" abilities (tools), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year, using the scale below. However, grades 10-18 are not available for use with High School players (ages 14-18), while grades 55-70 are not available for use with Pre High School players (ages 12-14). These instances are marked as "--- N/A ---" in the "Description" fields below.
