12/13/2020 - Official Player Development Membership - Indianapolis, IN Kaden continues to shine on the diamond. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At SS, feet are active as he works around balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is soft and presents well out front, working from the ground up. He moves well laterally with range improving as he continues to increase foot quickness. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he showed as a RHH through a tall, athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will continue to increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently.

01/17/2020 - Baseball Factory's Spring Training at Pirate City (Ages 12-14) Kaden continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. Glove action is firm and presents well out front. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he continues to show as a switch hitter but projects best from the right side. Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
