01/17/2020 - 2020 Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Kaden continues to shine in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. At 3B, he displays smooth/fluid actions. Feet are active as he works around balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is soft/sure and he presents well out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. At the plate, he continues to shine through an open setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. Power will continue to increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. On the mound, he displays a sound/repeatable delivery, working in line and on time allowing his arm to work loose/free to the plate. Arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 73 mph. Fastball showed a range of 69-73 mph with tailing action. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with sharp break. Control is solid as he attacks hitters and throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

10/06/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Washington (Pittsburgh), PA Kaden is a young 2-way player who plays 3B and RHP. Defensively, Kaden has quick feet, agile movements, and soft hands. He makes plays, his exchange is clean, and he throws with accuracy and momentum to his target. On the mound, this RHP has good balance and a clean arm circle. He separates his hands on time, gets good extension toward the plate, and delivers a heavy FB. Offensively, Kaden has a square stance, good rhythm, and he loads his hands well. He swings aggressively, has good feel for the barrel, and he uses some lower body. Overall skills can continue to spike with work on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
