10/07/2020 - Arizona Senior Fall Classic Kaden is an athletic, coachable 3B/RHP prospect who showcased his skills during the Arizona Fall Classic. At the plate, this LHH shows an advanced approach through a tall setup. He is smooth to load and generates explosive bat speed through the zone, producing loud contact and great gap to gap power. In the field, Kaden is smooth on his feet and shows great first step quickness. He fields with sure hands and has a smooth exchange, making accurate throws with carry across the diamond. On the mound, Kaden gathers over the rubber and works with a quick arm, staying inline toward the plate. He operates with a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 77mph. Breaking ball sits at 67mph with 10-4 break. Overall, Kaden is a talented prospect who has the skill set to contribute at the next level.

01/17/2020 - 2020 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Kaden is a tall 3B/RHP prospect who continued to showcase his skills at the Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament. In the field, Kaden takes a good first step and shows active footwork. He makes the routine plays and gains ground well on his throws, keeping them accurate to his target. At the plate, this LHH sets up in a square stance and takes a square stride. He gets into his load on time and drives through well with his lower half. He takes a level swing with fast bat speed, leading to loud contact and line drives. On the mound, Kaden gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a quick arm and accelerates through his release, staying inline towards the plate. Kaden shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 80mph with sinking action. Breaking ball sits from 65-71mph with sharp 9-3 break. Overall, Kaden is a talented prospect who has the potential to contribute at the next level.

08/11/2019 - College PREP - Kannapolis (Charlotte), NC Kaden is a tall 3B/RHP prospect who continues to showcase his skills on the field. In the field, Kaden shows fluid footwork and flashes great lateral range. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front with soft hands. He makes a clean exchange and gets rid of the ball quickly, keeping his throws accurate and on-line to his target. At the plate, this LHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a short stride. He is smooth getting back into his load and drives through well with his lower half. He takes a level swing with good extension, leading to consistent contact and line drives. On the mound, Kaden gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He stay inline towards the plate and finishes with a controlled landing. Kaden shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 76mph. Breaking ball sits from 65-66mph with 10-4 break. Overall, Kaden is a solid prospect who has the potential to contribute at the next level.

06/16/2019 - Omaha National World Series - Session 1 (Ages 14-18) Kaden showed some nice improvements in his overall game during his time in Omaha. He is an athletic 2-way player who runs well for his size and plays hard. At 3B, Kaden has athletic actions, he fields aggressively, and he works through it well. He has sure hands and an accurate arm across the diamond. On the mound, Kaden has a good idea, he is confident, and he throws strikes. He gathers himself well, separates on time, and shows good direction toward the plate. Offensively, Kaden has a square/athletic set-up, he swings on plane, and in good rhythm. He makes consistent contact and can spray the ball to all fields.

03/10/2019 - College PREP - Raleigh, NC Kaden is a tall, lean 3B/RHP with a promising future on the diamond. Foot speed is well above average as indicated by his 60 time of 7.05. At 3B, defensive abilities are solid as he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are active as he works around balls and plays through with his body. Hands / feet work well together through the fielding process. He moves well laterally, displaying range and soft / sure hands. At the plate he continues to shine through a squared setup. Hands are quick (85 mph exit velocity), creating bat speed through a direct / level swing path. He has strength in his swing and shows a feel for the barrel with gap-to-gap pop. On the mound, fastball shows a range of 74-75 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with gradual break. Control is solid as he throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. With his baseball tools, Kaden will get looks from the collegiate coaches as he continues to progress his game.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
