12/17/2023 - National Showcase - Chandler (Phoenix), AZ Kaden continues to impress with his baseball abilities At SS, defensive abilities are solid as he displays smooth / fluid actions. He shows active footwork as he attacks ball, working to square ball up. Glove action is soft and presents out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. Hands are quick (83 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn. On the mound, fastball shows range of 76-79 mph. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with arm side run. Stock on the mound will continue to increase as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

09/10/2023 - National Showcase - Chandler (Phoenix), AZ Kaden is a RHP/SS prospect who will graduate in 2026. Tall frame lean build with some strength present and room to add throughout. On the mound, he works exclusively from the stretch. He has a simple/repeatable delivery and works with good direction down the mound. A 3-pitch pitcher who attacks hitters with his FB that sat 72-79mph with movement, a 9/3 shaped slider with plus command, and a changeup that has some sinking action in the strike zone. FB was best pitch during his bullpen session. In the infield, has a good prep step, with active/efficient footwork, and he shows good lateral range. He works to center the baseball, with soft hands out front, and ability to pick out hops. He made on-line throws from a 3/4 arm slot with an arm velocity up to 77mph across diamond. Showed good touch on his DP flip and follows. A right-handed hitter he hits from an upright and even stance. Smooth timing to swing, with a flat barrel path, and a middle of the field approach. Good hip turn enables him to hit line drives to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 78mph during his round of BP. With 3 years of continued growth and development, we foresee Kaden making huge strides on the baseball field.

12/18/2022 - National Showcase - Chandler (Phoenix), AZ Kaden is a SS/RHP who will graduate in 2026. Tall frame lean build with strength present. At SS, good prep to start, with efficient feet, and showed ability to play through baseball. Works from right to left as he fields with hands out front and has a low funnel. He has a long arm stroke, with a 3/4 release point, and creates momentum on his throws. Made on-line throws consistently with an arm velocity up to 78mph across diamond. On the mound, gathers over the rubber, with a good rear hip coil, and lands square to his target. He flashed a FB that sat 66-67mph with some arm side run, a 9/3 breaking ball, and a changeup with arm side run that he throws with FB arm speed. CH was best pitch during his bullpen session. At the plate, he hits from an upright and open stance. Simple/smooth swing, with level eyes, and is centered at contact. He hit balls to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 63mph. With 3 years of continued growth and development, we foresee Kaden making huge strides on the baseball field.

07/16/2022 - Baseball Factory Los Angeles All Star Experience (Ages 12-14) Kaden is a SS/RHP who will graduate in 2026. Medium frame with some strength present and plenty of room to develop. At SS, efficient feet and ability to move lateral. Good rhythm to actions with good fielding angles. Works into a low/square fielding position with some feel for glove pocket. Short arm action into a 3/4 arm slot with a recorded arm velocity of 65mph. A right-handed hitter who hits from a tall and even stance. Showed an aggressive approach at the plate and ability to make hard contact. In live game action, he reached base 2 times and showed pull side pop with a bat exit velocity of 75mph. With years of continued growth and development, we foresee him having the opportunity to play at the next level.

01/20/2020 - Interactive Video Program - Mesa (Phoenix), AZ Kaden is a young, thin, 2-way player who plays SS and RHP. Defensively, Kaden has a presentable glove, an aggressive approach, and he fields squarely. He makes plays, gathers himself well, and throws with a short arm action across the diamond. On the mound, Kaden has good balance and a clean arm circle. He separates his hands on time, lands with a proper length stride toward home, and competes in the zone. At the plate, Kaden has good balance, a level swing, and he makes solid/consistent contact. He will need to work on the following for skills to improve.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
