06/09/2018 - 2018 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National Texas Kadon continues to show as a prospect on the diamond with the makings of a special type player at the next level. In the OF not many balls get down that are hit his way (6.61 60 time). Transfer exchange is smooth as he zips throws on a line (88 mph velocity) through his target. He has the versatility to play all 3 OF spots effectively. At the plate, he stands in with a solid/strong base and has fluid rhythm to load. Barrel delivery is short/quick with aggression as he connects with power (94 mph exit velocity) driving to all parts of the field. On the bump, he attacks hitters, throwing a lot of strikes as he works to get ahead of hitters through a quick tempo. Fastball showed a range of 85-88 mph. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with late break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with slight sink. Off speed stuff show as quality pitches that will get outs at the next level. Control is outstanding as he throws strikes with all his pitches. Kadon will get looks from pro scouts with the makings of a solid 2019 draft pick.

01/16/2015 - Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Kadon is an aggressive, explosive 2019 outfielder. Defensively, he moved well with quick, agile actions. He gets good reads and gets around the ball well which gives him the ability to turn doubles into singles against the opponent. He will be an everyday center fielder in most lineups with his lateral quickness and natural instincts. At the plate, Kadon squares himself to the plate with a soft stride. He is balanced at contact with a strong backside and still head. He shows glimpses of next level power with continued development of strength. Kadon is a talented, versatile player with next level tools.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "present" abilities (tools), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year, using the scale below. However, grades 10-18 are not available for use with High School players (ages 14-18), while grades 55-70 are not available for use with Pre High School players (ages 12-14). These instances are marked as "--- N/A ---" in the "Description" fields below.
