He did show behind the plate as a catcher for the first time at the event. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a 7.21 runner. At SS, defensive abilities are now outstanding as he displays smooth fluid actions. Feet are active as he attacks ball and plays through with his body. Glove actions is clean and presents well out front. Range is a plus as he moves well laterally and covers a lot of ground. Throws are accurate with carry (81 mph velocity) to his target. Behind the dish, he presents a soft/sure mitt showing great pocket awareness sticking pitches. He uses his body through the blocking process, centering balls out front. Pop times showed in 2.16 range with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss. At the plate, he continues to show as a switch hitter but projects better as RHH. Hands are quick (81 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach, flashing gap to gap pop. Lower half works well through the swing and shows a feel for the barrel.
