01/16/2009 - Under Armour Pre-Season All America - 2009 Kaleb is a big, strong two-position guy with slightly above average defensive tools at 1B. Plenty of arm strength over there. Hands and fine, but his footwork needs to quicken. At the plate, he has a front-foot approach and an inside-out path. He is strong, and if he learns to stay back and between his feet, his hands may work for him. Shows some pop, but lack of balance makes his barrel accuracy inconsistent. Projects best on the mound right now with a tailing fastball in the 80-83 range at this event. Delivery is easy, and he competes on the bump. He has a good feel for the zone and when he learns to use his lower half, he is going to see better arm speed. Will improve with time and instruction. Should be a solid college player.
