12/27/2024 - Baseball Factory Holiday Classic at Pirate City Kalob is an outfielder from Cypress, Texas, who will graduate in 2025 and worked hard to develop his skills at the Baseball Factory Pirate City Holiday Camp. He demonstrates excellent reads on fly balls and has the ability to flip his hips and run down balls in all directions. Kalob’s quick exchange and good momentum help him make accurate throws, with an impressive arm velocity of up to 89 mph. At the plate, he starts with a square stance and keeps his hands comfortable, taking an aggressive swing with a smooth barrel path. He hit balls into both gaps and reached base via a walk, an error, and was hit by a pitch. With another season of growth and development, Kalob will continue to refine his skills and further enhance his overall game.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
