01/15/2016 - Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Kamal is a hardworking, coachable player that showed well at the Preseason All American Rookie event. Offensively, he shows a balanced/squared setup and tracks the ball well. Hands are loose and work through a level swing path, creating bat whip. He has strength in his swing with baseball exploding off his bat when centered. As a corner IF, he is fundamentally sound, displaying smooth/fluid actions. Hands/feet work well together through the fielding process. Feet are active as he showing proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Presenting his glove more out in front will help to avoid getting the ‘in between' hop. Continuing to improve foot speed will increase range. With 3 years to further develop, Kamal has the makings of a special type player at the next level as he continues to progress.
