12/27/2023 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 2 Kameron continues to shine with his baseball abilities at the Pirate City Christmas tournament. Behind the dish, he sits low in a comfortable stance and presents a solid target. He utilizes his body well through the blocking process but needs to work to get body down sooner. Pop times showed in the 2.21 range. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he shows good rhythm through a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach. Lower half works well through the swing, centering weight well. He is coachable and works hard on the diamond.

07/17/2023 - National Showcase - Highland Park (DFW), TX Kameron is a C/OF who will graduate in 2025. Medium frame athletic build with strength present. At C he showed efficient feet with a low/athletic sit. Replaces his feet as he gains ground to second base. Works thumb under baseball keeping balls in the strike zone. A clean transfer, with short arm action, and throws from a 3/4 release point. Made on-line throws to second base, with good carry, and arm velocity up to 80mph and a best pop time of 2.13 seconds. In the OF he showed good lateral range and shows ability to run down balls in all directions. He plays through the ball and creates momentum on his throws into infield. A right-handed hitter he hits from an athletic and open stance. Shows smooth rhythm with a small hand load and is centered at contact. Gets on-plane early and has a high finish through the baseball. Hit balls to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 76mph during BP. With 2 years of growth and development, we foresee Kameron having a bright future on the baseball field.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
