07/29/2017 - Under Armour All-America Game, Powered by Baseball Factory A polished all-around catcher, Kameron is an advanced receiver with strong, sure hands and flexibility. He also has the high baseball IQ and leadership skills that you look for in a backstop. Add in a quick release and accurate arm to make for a very polished defender. Kameron has a fluid, natural swing from the left side with good bat-to-ball skills and the ability to shoot balls in both gaps. He is committed to Cal State Fullerton.

09/24/2016 - 2016 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's Futures West Kameron possesses a hard-to-find combination in the ability to stay behind the plate at higher levels, and an impact LH bat. His swing is natural and coordinated resulting in lots of loud contact. His hanging leg kick allows him to stalk the pitch before landing and delivering the barrel with authority. He has pull loft power and the ability to drive the ball to both gaps. As a defender Kameron is flexible, sitting well and receiving with strong hands. He has quick feet and a clean exchange that lead to times as low as 1.93 to 2B with accuracy. Despite this impressive combination of physical tools, perhaps Kameron's best attribute is his outstanding energy and his vocal leadership. This total package makes for a special prospect at a premium position.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "present" abilities (tools), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year, using the scale below. However, grades 10-18 are not available for use with High School players (ages 14-18), while grades 55-70 are not available for use with Pre High School players (ages 12-14). These instances are marked as "--- N/A ---" in the "Description" fields below.
