01/18/2019 - Baseball Factory Spring Training in Arizona (Ages 12-14) Kameron is a coachable OF prospect who worked hard on his skills during his time at the Spring Training in Arizona. In the field, Kameron takes good angles and is agile moving to the ball. He fields the ball out in front of his body and makes a clean exchange, working to keep his throws accurate to his target. Getting into a lower fielding position can help Kameron improve defensively. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a short stride. He is on time getting into a small load and hits against a strong front side. He works to barrel up the baseball and drives to his pull side. Kameron can improve as a hitter by extending through the ball more. With four more years to develop, Kameron has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

07/14/2018 - Baseball Factory D.C. All Star Experience (Ages 12-14) Kameron is a coachable OF/2B prospect who continued to work hard on his skills during his time at the D.C. All Star Experience. In the field, Kameron shows active footwork and flashes good lateral range. He gets into a low position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He makes a clean exchange and gains momentum well on his throws, keeping them consistently on-line to his target. Kameron can improve defensively by long tossing to build up his arm strength. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and takes a short stride. He takes a direct swing with decent bat speed which leads to solid line drives. Kameron can improve as a hitter by working a smoother load into his swing. With five more years to develop, Kameron has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

05/20/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Gambrills, MD Kameron is a young, thin, 2-way player who plays OF and 2nd base. In the OF, Kameron attacks the ball aggressively, footwork is active, and hands are soft. He fields in a low position, his exchange is clean, and throws with okay direction toward his target. At 2nd base, Kameron has playable hands and feet, he makes the routine plays, and throws with accuracy to his target from a short arm action. Offensively, Kameron has an open stance, a short stride, and good balance. He has a direct/level swing path and hits line drives. Kameron can improve skills with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "present" abilities (tools), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year, using the scale below. However, grades 10-18 are not available for use with High School players (ages 14-18), while grades 55-70 are not available for use with Pre High School players (ages 12-14). These instances are marked as "--- N/A ---" in the "Description" fields below.
