07/29/2015 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 Keigan is a solid, athletic OF/RHP that will graduate in 2018 with a promising future on the diamond. Currently, he projects best in the OF for the next level. Foot speed is outstanding as indicated by his 7.00 60 time. At the plate is where he shows best through a squared / athletic setup. Hands are quick, flashing bat speed and work through a direct / level swing path. He works to stay inside the ball, utilizing all fields Barrel accuracy is a plus with baseball jumping off the bat when centered, mainly to the pull side. At the event, he was 2 for 9 with a 3B. In the OF, he reads balls well off the bat and takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He communicates well and will go get the baseball, covering a lot of ground and displaying plus range. On the mound, fastball shows a range of 72-73 mph. Breaking ball displays loose spin as he needs to develop a better feel for pitch. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength, throws more strikes, develops better off speed stuff. Mental makeup is a plus as he displays a great attitude, is very coachable, and works hard to be the best player he can be. With 3 years to further develop, Keigan has a lot of potential and will catch the eyes of the collegiate coaches as he continues to improve.
