  • SS/RHPPosition Projection

08/25/2019 - Accelerated Interactive Video Program - Pensacola, FL Keilan is an athletic SS/RHP who will graduate in 2026. In the field, Keilan shows active footwork and is agile moving to the ball. He gets into an athletic position and fields with a firm glove. He makes a clean exchange and keeps his throws on-line to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a short stride. He is smooth getting into his load and drives through well with his lower half. He takes a direct swing with fast bat speed, leading to solid contact. On the mound, Keilan gathers over the rubber and separates his hand on time. He works with a loose arm and extends through his release, staying inline towards the plate. Keilan shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 58mph with tailing action. Breaking ball sits at 52mph. Changeup sits at 50mph with tailing action as he throws with deceptive arm speed. Overall abilities can improve with work on the following.

Fielding

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
