03/15/2015 - College PREP - Waco, TX Keion is a very athletic OF that ran exceptionally well in his first outing with Baseball Factory, posting a 6.97 sixty and a 4.15 home to first. Defensively, he moved well to the ball with good body control and made plays with a sure glove out in front. Working through the baseball and staying in a straight line towards his target to throw will help to improve his release time and add accuracy/carry. Offensively, he keeps his head on the baseball and gets his hands activated in his launch. He is balanced in his stance and fluid in his actions to get to and through the zone with the barrel. Loosening his grip and making his barrel delivery more compact will significantly benefit his overall hitting ability. All in all - Keion is an intriguing follow that has present tools and athleticism to add strength and consistency to for the next level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
