06/16/2022 - Omaha National World Series - Session 1 (HS) Keith is a 2023 OF/RHP who worked hard on his skills during the National World Series in Omaha. In the OF, starts with efficient feet and works in good direction towards ball. Good 1st step reads enable him to take aggressive routes to baseball. Tracks baseball well as he works behind/through the ball. Throws are accurate, with good momentum to target, and has good carry into the infield with an arm velocity up to 79mph. A right-handed pitcher, he keeps eyes on target and gets to a good balance point. He gathers over the rubber and separates on time. Throws a FB that sat 73-76mph with good movement, and a 10/4 shaped breaking ball with good sweeping action. In 4 innings of work, Keith struck out 5 batters and only allowed 1 earned run. A right-handed hitter begins with a tall and open stance with loose hands. Showed a compact swing with a fast barrel through the hitting zone. Hit balls consistently into both gaps with a bat exit velocity up to 83mph during BP. In live game action, he reached base 3 times with a triple, a single, and a base on ball. With continued growth and development, we foresee Keith having a bright future on the baseball field.
