05/08/2016 - College PREP - Tampa, FL Keith is an athletic OF who has a bright future on the diamond. Foot speed is above average as indicated by his 60 time of 7.26. In the OF, he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to his target. Hands / feet work well together with accuracy and on line carry to his throws. At the plate is where he shows best, displaying outstanding hitting abilities with tremendous power potential through a closed, athletic setup. Hands are quick (94 mph exit velocity) and work through a level / aggressive swing path. He has strength in his swing with baseball exploding off the bat when centered. The baseball comes off his bat a little differently. Keith has a lot of potential and will catch the eyes of the collegiate coaches with his baseball abilities.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
