Kelechi is a young gentlemen that respects the game and works extremely hard. In the OF, his present strength and athleticism allowed him to gain ground despite not always getting the best jump. Increasing his reps and working at game speed will help to iron out the false first steps and make him a touch quicker to get to balls. At the plate, he showed strong hands and present pop. He flashed good bat speed and is an astute tracker with good balance. In all - Kagha is in the process of developing from a raw player into a more refined prospect with a excellent demeanor.

Kelechi continues to improve between his outings with Baseball Factory. He ran his best sixty to date - 7.6 - and threw his fastest recorded velocity - 74 MPH - at his most recent showing. He is aggressive to balls in the outfield, and covers ground. Offensively, he is generating fast bat speed and flashes pop when he centers the ball. For a rising freshman, he is an advanced hitter with gap-to-gap ability. He still projects nicely in the outfield, with an ability to play any of the three spots.

Kelechi Kagha is an athletic 2017 graduate who plays the outfield. In the outfield Kelechi fields with clean hands, has quick footwork, playable range, and an athletic fielding position. At the plate he has a tall set up, smooth load, short stride, and centered balance. He uses his lower half well and has explosive bat speed for his age. He is a gap to gap hitter as he showed during the camp games and he has good plate discipline as well. With his athleticism and approach, Kelechi has a bright future as he continue to move up in the game.

Kelechi is a athletic, solid, OF with a tall frame. Defensively, Kelechi has aggressive feet, he takes good angles to the ball, and his hands are sure. He fields in a low / athletic position, his exchange is clean, and he throws with a short arm action with average strength to his target. Offensively, Kelechi has an open stance, quick hands, and fast bat speed. He makes hard / consistent contact, his swing is level, and he gets his lower 1/2 through. Kelechi is a solid / projectable player and can further progress with work on the following.
