08/20/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Kannapolis (Charlotte), NC Kelvin is a (2022 grad) at C/2B. Defensively behind the plate, he sits in square and tracks pitches into his glove. He's quick to block and recover and makes accurate throws to his target. At 2B, he takes good angles as he works into a square fielding position. He fields the ball, gathers well and fires the ball accurately to his target. With the bat, Kelvin get back into a good loaded position. He takes hard hacks through the zone and looks to drive pitches with power. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
