07/29/2015 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 Ross is a proven hard worker who has significantly progressed in his game. He stood out as a true athlete, 6.88 60, 8'11 broad jump and has explosiveness in his body. At the plate, he has improved his hitting/power grades through an athletic setup with fluid rhythm to load. He fires the barrel through the zone with quick hands as he shows the ability to drive the ball the other way with power. He connects with strength as the ball jumps off of his barrel. Defensively, he moves lightly on the balls of his feet and covers ground laterally with a ton of speed. He gathers smoothly and works to get behind balls, playing through with momentum to his target. He is a very hard worker with off the charts makeup. Kendahl is a very talented prospect whose skills will translate well at the next level.

05/10/2015 - College PREP - College Station, TX Kendahl is a R/R OF who has an athletic build. In the OF, he has quick footwork as he hustles into position behind the fly-ball. He secures the ball with 2-hands, has a quick exchange and makes accurate throws to his target. Playing through the ball more will help to improve his skills in the OF. With the bat, he has a square setup with a solid base. He has quick hands and whips the barrel through the zone. He hits the ball where it's pitched, spraying it to all parts of the field. More extension through his finish will result in increased pop. Only a 2018 grad - Ross still has a ton of time to develop his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
