10/26/2019 - Mid-Atlantic Regional Pitching/Catching Weekend (Ages 14-18)
Kenneth is a coachable LHP prospect who worked hard on his skills during the Accelerated Training Weekend. On the mound, Kenneth gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He keeps his eyes on target and works inline towards the plate. Kenneth shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 65mph. Breaking ball sits from 57-60mph with sharp 1-7 break. Changeup sits from 57-58mph as he throws with deceptive arm speed. Loosening his arm action can help Kenneth improve as a pitcher. Overall, Kenneth is a developing prospect who has the potential to further progress his skills on the field.
08/11/2019 - College PREP - Wilmington, DE
Kenneth is a solid, 2-way player who plays OF and LHP. Defensively, Kenneth has active feet, he tracks the ball well, and his hands are soft. He fields low, makes plays, and has a clean exchange with accuracy and momentum to his cut off man. Added range and arm strength can help defensive grades get better. On the mound, Kenneth has good size, good direction toward home, and he works on a downhill plane. His FB touched 62 MPH and showed some A/S run. Kenneth will need to sharpen mechanics and loosen his arm action for mound effectiveness to improve. At the plate, Kenneth is a strong hitter with good balance and fast bat speed. He has a compact swing, makes square contact, and he can work the ball to all fields. A looser grip and more lower body will help solid hitting numbers get even better.
