07/30/2014 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 Keshawn showed well at the Baseball Factory Pirate City World Series, especially as a RHH 1B. Defensively, he was efficient with his feet, controlled with his body, and soft with his hands. He got to a fielding position with hands in front and showed some pickability. He threw with momentum to his target and will continue being a quality asset especially when he anticipates game situations before the ball is hit. Offensively, he generates good bat speed and maintains strong barrel accuracy for hard hit frequency. He has good eye hand coordination, fluid actions and an aggressive approach, attacking the zone. On the hill, he threw 3 pitches with some ability to locate. He gathered over the rubber, worked quickly, and was deceptive. Staying direct with his direction and utilizing his lower half are two aspects of his mechanics that will increase pitchability. All in all - Keshawn has a great baseball frame and a great leadership personality, two crucial keys to success.
