08/06/2009 - Under Armour All-America Game 2009 LH hitting OF with above average speed and a short, quick stroke. He is a bit raw now both offensively and defensively, but has an extremely high ceiling. Lacks some rhythm in his approach at the plate, yet delivers the barrel well and has some surprising power that will continue to further develop. Intensity to game. Profiles best as future LF. Committed to Wake Forest, Jordan was selected in the 19th round by the New York Yankees in the 2010 MLB Draft out of Northside High School in Columbus, GA.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
