01/07/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (AZ) Kevin is a 1B/RHP prospect who showed well during the Pre-Season All-America Tournament. In the field, Kevin shows active footwork and centers the ball in the middle of his body. He gets into a square position and fields the ball out in front of his body. His exchange is clean and he gets rid of the ball quickly, making on-line throws to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an open stance and takes his stride on time. He is smooth to load and engages his lower half well. He extends through the ball and uses his leverage to produce great pull side power. On the mound, Kevin gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a quick arm and extends through his release, staying inline toward the plate. Kevin operates with a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 82mph with tailing action. Cutter sits from 78-79mph with good movement. Overall, Kevin is a talented prospect who has the potential to contribute at the next level.

09/29/2021 - Arizona Senior Fall Classic Kevin continues to showcase his baseball tools at the Arizona Senior Fall Classic. At 3B, he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are active as he works around balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. Throws are accurate with carry across the diamond. At the plate, he shows an athletic setup. Hands are quick (88 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Lower half works well through the swing and shows a feel for the barrel. On the mound, he shows a controlled, repeatable delivery allowing his quick arm action to work well to the plate. Fastball showed a range of 75-78 mph. Slider displays tight spin with 11/5 shape. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, works hard, and is very coachable.

06/18/2021 - Baseball Factory All-State Tournament (HS) Kevin is a class of 2022 First baseman. At the plate, he showed some raw power and had exit velos up to 77 MPH. He showed a good use of his lower ½ and was able to square up the baseball often. He did a good job getting extension through the baseball and worked gap-to-gap. In live game action, he hit a home run along with a double and 2 BB. In the field, he showed effective feet and the ability to move laterally. He had a short arm action and made accurate throws across the infield from a high ¾ arm slot. Arm velos across were up to 86 MPH. Kevin is a good ballplayer that we expect to see continue to grow and develop.

02/12/2021 - Baseball Factory Opening Day Classic (HS - West) Kevin is a 2022 3B/1B. Medium frame with a sturdy build showing a strong lower half. Primary corner IF, good movements to the baseball as he comes and gets it. Fields the baseball out front and then works into a clean transfer and release. Good bag awareness at 1B. Arm strength showing as he threw it 80 mph across the diamond. Good feel for both positions as he projects well on the corner. Right-handed hitter, starting from a balanced and even stance. Soft and square stride as he showing a linear swing path. Showing some lift to the swing as he looks to drive it deep. Looks to pull the baseball when possible but shows gap to gap power. Exit velo of 87mph. As he continues to develop and mature, we see him playing at the next level.

01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (TX) Kevin is a strong CIF prospect who showed well during the Pre-Season All-America Tournament. At the plate, this RHH shows an advanced approach through an open setup. He is fluid to load and drives through well with his lower half. He stays direct through the ball with fast bat speed, leading to loud contact and strong line drives. In the field, Kevin gets into a square position and fields the ball out in front of his body. His exchange is clean and he makes accurate/on-line throws through his target. Overall, Kevin is a talented prospect who has the skill set to contribute at the next level.

01/17/2020 - 2020 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Kevin is a 1B prospect who showed well at the Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament. In the field, Kevin gets into an athletic position and fields with sure hands. He throws with a loose arm and keeps his throws accurate with carry through his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an open stance and takes a square stride. He is controlled getting into his load and hits against a strong front side. He takes a short swing with fast bat speed, leading to consistent contact and gap to gap pop. Overall, Kevin is a talented prospect who has the potential to contribute at the next level.

06/12/2016 - Interactive Video Program - Las Vegas, NV Kevin is a young (2021 grad) R/R corner infielder. At 3B, he shows active footwork and moves well into a square fielding position behind the GB. He funnels smoothly and has a clean transfer to throw. At 1B, he comes to get the GB and tracks it into his mitt. He adjusts around the bag and can pick it. Offensively, this righty has a square setup with rhythm to load. He swings on a level path and works to engage his lower 1/2. Continuing to work on the following will help to improve skills on the diamond.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
