06/16/2018 - Omaha National World Series - Session 1 (Ages 14-18) Koby is a well-built 2B/RHP prospect who continues to elevate his game. Offensively, Koby has an open setup with a centered balance. He has a short, square stride as he partially uses his lower half throughout his swing. Koby has a short, direct swing path producing consistent contact. He is a line drive type hitter who has the ability to use all fields. In the field, Koby plays with firm footwork and covers good ground. He presents his glove and fields the ball in a high position. Koby is smooth fielding the ball with his backhand. He has a long arm action throwing from a high 3/4 arm slot. He can benefit from playing through the baseball giving him greater strength on his throws. On the mound, Koby work with a good tempo and has a mound presence. He has balanced, on-time mechanics throwing from an over the top arm slot. He has a stiff arm action and extends through his release. Koby stays square to home plate with the proper stride length. He does a nice job finishing with his chest over his front knee. Koby shows effective off speed pitches with a sharp 12-6 o'clock and deceptive changeup. Overall, Koby has a confident approach and solid skill set giving him a bright future on the diamond.
