Omaha National World Series - Session 1 (Ages 14-18) Koby is a well-built 2B/RHP prospect who continues to elevate his game. Offensively, Koby has an open setup with a centered balance. He has a short, square stride as he partially uses his lower half throughout his swing. Koby has a short, direct swing path producing consistent contact. He is a line drive type hitter who has the ability to use all fields. In the field, Koby plays with firm footwork and covers good ground. He presents his glove and fields the ball in a high position. Koby is smooth fielding the ball with his backhand. He has a long arm action throwing from a high 3/4 arm slot. He can benefit from playing through the baseball giving him greater strength on his throws. On the mound, Koby work with a good tempo and has a mound presence. He has balanced, on-time mechanics throwing from an over the top arm slot. He has a stiff arm action and extends through his release. Koby stays square to home plate with the proper stride length. He does a nice job finishing with his chest over his front knee. Koby shows effective off speed pitches with a sharp 12-6 o'clock and deceptive changeup. Overall, Koby has a confident approach and solid skill set giving him a bright future on the diamond.

02/24/2018 - College PREP - Sioux Falls, SD Koby is a well-rounded 2B/RHP prospect who has a versatile skill set. At 2B, Koby plays with active footwork taking effective angles to cover good ground. He moves with agile actions and fields the ball in a low, square position. Koby has a quick, clean exchange leading into a loose arm action throwing from a high 3/4 arm slot. His throws are online with good strength across the diamond. Offensively, Koby has a tall setup with a firm front side. He has a good load with a square stride. He has a long swing path and gets good extension at contact. Koby has a line drive approach and the ability to spray the ball to all fields. On the mound, Koby has an on-time delivery throwing from a high 3/4 arm slot. He has a clean arm action and lands with the proper stride length. Koby has a nasty curveball at times and his changeup shows sink movement. Overall, Koby has skill on both sides of the ball with potential to get even better.
