09/03/2021 - Baseball Factory's All-Region Tournament (HS) Kole is an athletic OF/RHP prospect who showcased his skills during the All-Region Tournament. In the field, Kole takes good angles and makes the routine plays. He creates momentum on his throws and keeps them accurate to his target. At the plate, this switch hitter generates fast bat speed through the zone and drives the ball from gap to gap with authority. On the mound, Kole gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a quick arm and extends through his release, staying inline toward the plate. Kole operates with a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 85mph with tailing action. Breaking ball sits from 72-73mph with 11-5 break. Overall, Kole is a solid prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

03/14/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Nashville, TN Kole is an athletic OF/RHP prospect who continues to showcase his skills on the field. In the OF, Kole shows fluid footwork and covers ground well. He gets into an athletic position and fields with a firm glove. His exchange is clean and he gains ground well on his throws, keeping them accurate/on-line through his target. At the plate, this switch hitter sets up in an open stance and takes a short stride. He is fluid to load and works through a level swing with fast bat speed, producing strong line drives to his pull side. On the mound, Kole gathers over the rubber and works with a clean arm. He stays inline toward the plate and finishes with his chest square to his target. Kole shows a four pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 80mph. Breaking ball sits from 64-65mph with late 11-5 break. Changeup sits from 69-70mph with sinking action as he throws with deceptive arm speed. Knuckle ball shows good tumbling action. Overall, Kole is a talented prospect who has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

08/23/2020 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Nashville, TN Kole continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and is a prospect on the diamond. Foot speed his improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a 7.15 runner. At the plate is where he has improved the most as he continues to show as a switch hitter with similar abilities from both sides. He has fluid rhythm while getting good hand separation into a strong launch position. Barrel is whipped through the zone (89 mph exit velocity) as he connects with strength. Power is best shown from the right side. Defensively at 1B, he shows active prep with fluid actions. He works around the GB and through it as he gains ground toward his target. Footwork around the bag is solid and he is a quality receiver. Exchange is clean with accurate throws but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program.

08/25/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Lebanon (Nashville), TN Kole showed solid upgrades all over the field during his last workout with The Factory. He increased radar velocity to 77 MPH, defensive grades spiked, along with RHH numbers. On the mound, Kole has an athletic delivery, good balance, and a clean arm circle. He works well to his balance point, separates his hands on time, and lands squarely toward his target; competing in the zone. At 3rd base, Kole has quick/fluid feet, agile movements, and he squares up well to the ball. He fields athletically, his exchange is quick and clean, and he throws with carry across the diamond. At the plate, Kole is a better hitter from the right side. He swings aggressively, makes hard/consistent contact, and he uses his lower body. From the left side, Kole stands in squarely, loads well, and can spray to all fields.

08/26/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Lebanon (Nashville), TN Kole is a tall, athletic, 2-way player who pitches and plays 3B. On the mound, Kole has a quick arm action, an athletic delivery, and good balance throughout. He lands in a square position toward home and competes in the zone with his pitches. At 3B, Kole has active feet, he moves well to the ball, and fields in a square position; throwing with accuracy and carry to his target. At the plate, Kole has a square set-up, good balance, and quick hands. He swings on plane, makes consistent contact, and he uses some lower body. Kole can improve overall skills with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
