01/17/2020 - Baseball Factory's Spring Training at Pirate City (Ages 12-14) Koleman showed good athleticism and solid skills during his time in Pirate City. At 2nd base, Koleman has agile movements, he fields athletically, and he keeps the ball in front of his body. He has firm hands, a clean exchange, and he throws with accuracy across the diamond. Offensively, Koleman has a square/athletic stance, an activated load, and he takes a square stride toward the pitcher. He makes hard/consistent contact, his line drives, and rotates his lower body through. Koleman raised arm velocity to 55 MPH during the workout.

11/10/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Davie, FL Koleman is young, 2-way player who plays 2nd base and RHP. Defensively, Koleman fields aggressively, hands are presentable, and he fields squarely. He covers ground, funnels well, and throws with accuracy and direction over to his target. On the mound, Koleman has good balance, he separates his hands on time, and he lands with a proper length stride toward home plate. He has some leg drive and is around the zone his pitches. At the plate, Koleman has an athletic stance, good balance, and he swings in good rhythm. He has a direct barrel, makes square contact, and hits line drives using his lower body. Overall skills can continue to get better with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
