06/20/2009 - Omaha Pro Select Training and Tournament - Week 2 Kolter is a young catcher with a small, thin frame that shows projection as he continues to physically mature. Foot speed is a average and he will benefit by getting on a speed / agility program to improve foot quickness for the next level. Receiving skills are slightly above average and he shows solid average blocking skills. Pop times are well below average and he needs instruction with his transfer/exchange and footwork to throw. Arm strength is solid average and he needs to get on a strict long toss program to aid in further developing more arm strength, lowering pop times. At the plate, hitting abilities and power are average. He shows a short direct path and makes contact but has some mechanical flaws that are hindering him from reaching his full potential with grades improving quickly with instruction as adjustments at the plate. With 2 years to further develop, Hunt has abilities with a lot of room to improve.
