11/15/2018 - Baseball Factory Select Training & Competition at Pirate City (Ages 12-14) Konner is a coachable RHP/SS prospect who worked hard on his skills during his time at the Select Training & Competition at Pirate City. On the mound, Konner gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a clean arm and finishes with his chest over his front knee. Konner shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 60mph with cutting action. Breaking ball sits from 51-52mph with 11-5 break. Changeup sits from 53-54mph with sinking action as he throws with deceptive arm speed. Extending through his release more can help Konner improve as a pitcher. In the field, Konner shows efficient footwork and covers ground well. He fields with soft hands and makes a clean exchange, keeping his throws accurate and on-line to his target. Konner can improve defensively by fielding in a lower position. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and takes a short stride. He gets back into his load well and leads with his lower half. He takes a level swing with decent bat speed which leads to consistent contact to all fields. Konner can improve as a hitter by working a smoother rhythm into his load. With six more years to develop, Konner has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

08/26/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Lebanon (Nashville), TN Konner is a solid, athletic, 2-way player who plays SS and RHP. Defensively, Konner has active feet, he attacks aggressively, and fields in a square position. He has a clean exchange, and throws with carry and accuracy across the diamond. On the mound, Konner has a balanced delivery, he separates on time, and he lands with good direction toward home plate. Offensively, Konner has a tall/square set-up, he loads well, and he uses his lower body. He has good strength, works the ball gap to gap, and he makes solid contact. Konner can get better with work on the following.

1. Hands
2. Fielding position
3. Release
1. Stride
2. Landing
3. Arm action
1. Swing path
2. Rhythm
3. Bat speed

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "present" abilities (tools), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year, using the scale below. However, grades 10-18 are not available for use with High School players (ages 14-18), while grades 55-70 are not available for use with Pre High School players (ages 12-14). These instances are marked as "--- N/A ---" in the "Description" fields below.
