01/17/2020 - 2020 Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Konner is a coachable SS prospect who worked hard on his skills during the All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament. In the field, he takes a good first step and shows quick footwork. He gets into a low position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He makes a quick exchange and gains momentum well on his throws, keeping them accurate with carry through his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a square stride. He is fluid getting his hands activated in a smooth load and drives through well with his lower half. He takes a smooth swing with fast bat speed, leading to loud contact and gap to gap pop. Overall, Konner is a talented prospect who will be one to follow as he progresses.

12/27/2019 - Baseball Factory Winter Classic (Ages 12-14) Konner continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At SS, he displays smooth/athletic actions. Feet are active and plays through balls with his body. Glove action is clean but needs to present more out front. At the plate, he continues to shine through a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He makes consistent contact and has strength in his swing with power showing best to the pull side. At the event, he was 4 for 7 with a 2B. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 61-63 mph with tailing action. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with slight tail. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.

08/25/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Lebanon (Nashville), TN Konner showed nice all around upgrades during his last workout with The Factory. He increased radar velocity to 66 MPH, hitting grades spiked, and exit velocity increased to 72 MPH. At SS, Konner presents his glove well, his feet are active, and he moves with agility to the ball. He moves well laterally, makes plays consistently, and has a quick/accurate arm with carry through to his target. On the mound, Konner has good balance over the rubber and he separates his hands on time. He lands with good direction toward the plate and competes in the zone. At the plate, Konner is a strong/aggressive hitter with fast bat speed. He makes hard/consistent contact and he uses his lower body.

11/15/2018 - Baseball Factory Select Training & Competition at Pirate City (Ages 12-14) Konner is a coachable RHP/SS prospect who worked hard on his skills during his time at the Select Training & Competition at Pirate City. On the mound, Konner gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a clean arm and finishes with his chest over his front knee. Konner shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 60mph with cutting action. Breaking ball sits from 51-52mph with 11-5 break. Changeup sits from 53-54mph with sinking action as he throws with deceptive arm speed. Extending through his release more can help Konner improve as a pitcher. In the field, Konner shows efficient footwork and covers ground well. He fields with soft hands and makes a clean exchange, keeping his throws accurate and on-line to his target. Konner can improve defensively by fielding in a lower position. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and takes a short stride. He gets back into his load well and leads with his lower half. He takes a level swing with decent bat speed which leads to consistent contact to all fields. Konner can improve as a hitter by working a smoother rhythm into his load. With six more years to develop, Konner has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

08/26/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Lebanon (Nashville), TN Konner is a solid, athletic, 2-way player who plays SS and RHP. Defensively, Konner has active feet, he attacks aggressively, and fields in a square position. He has a clean exchange, and throws with carry and accuracy across the diamond. On the mound, Konner has a balanced delivery, he separates on time, and he lands with good direction toward home plate. Offensively, Konner has a tall/square set-up, he loads well, and he uses his lower body. He has good strength, works the ball gap to gap, and he makes solid contact. Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
