01/12/2024 - 2024 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament Konner is a 2024 SS out of Smithville, TN who showed as a prospect at the All-America Pre-Season Tournament. At SS, defensive abilities are well above average as he displays smooth/fluid actions. He starts in an athletic ready position and fields in a square position. Glove action is sure and presents well out front. He utilizes his foot quickness in covering a lot of ground. Throws are accurate with carry to his target. At the plate, he continues to shine through an open setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Lower half works well through the swing as he transfers weight into a firm front side. At the event, he was 2 for 6. Overall, Konner is a talented prospect who has the skill set to contribute at the next level and we're looking forward to seeing that at Greenville University.

05/21/2023 - National Showcase - Lebanon (Nashville), TN Konner continues to shine with his baseball abilities. At SS, hands/feet work well through the fielding process. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork as he works to square ground balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is firm and presents out front. He utilizes his foot quickness in covering a lot of ground. At the plate, he continues to shine through an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap to gap pop. Power will continue to increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently.

01/13/2023 - 2023 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament Konner is a 2024 SS out of Smithville, TN who showcased his talents at the BF Pre-Season All-America Tournament. At SS, he has active footwork and athletic actions that allows him to cover ground laterally. Konner fields from a square/low fielding position and has a quick/clean exchange. He throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with consistent accuracy across the infield and a raw velo of 80mph. At the plate, he hits from a square/athletic stance, with a short/square stride and an effective load. He has a quiet head and simple repeatable swing. He has a solid line drive approach to all fields. In the game, Konner showcased good plate awareness drawing a pair of base on balls. He also proved to be a great teammate and was huge attribute in the dugout. We expect to see Konner continue to grow in the next 2 years on the field.

09/21/2022 - Arizona Junior Fall Classic (2024) Konner continues to show as a prospect and did so with improvements in his baseball abilities at the Arizona Junior Fall Classic. At SS, defensive abilities are solid as he displays smooth/clean actions. Feet are active as attacks balls and plays through well with his body. Glove action is soft/sure and presents well out front. He moves well laterally with range improving as he continues to increase foot quickness. Throws show accuracy when making the play. At the plate, he has an open setup. Hands are quick and works through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a great personality, is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.

01/14/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (FL) Konner is a young an athletic SS out of Smithville, TN in the 2024 class. Although only a 24 grad, he proved he belonged with the best at the FL Preseason All-American Tournament. In the field, he has effective feet and centers his body well to the baseball. Gets square in his fielding position with solid glove presentation. His exchanges are clean and transitions into a short ¾ arm slot. Produces on-line and accurate throws to his targets. At the plate, he displays a solid line drive path. He stays inside the baseball well for line-to-line production. He is an aggressive hitter who engages his lower half. Incorporating more of a hand load will increase his bat speed for additional power. Overall, Konner has a very bright future on the diamond.

10/06/2021 - Arizona Sophomore Fall Classic Konner is hard working/coachable MIF prospect in the 2024 class out of Smithville, TN. Defensively, he showed the ability to get in a low fielding position with good glove presentation out front and worked through the baseball while making accurate throws to 1B. Offensively, he stood comfortably in the batters box showing a keen eye for the strike zone and had a line drive approach where he uses all fields. Konner could benefit from implementing an agility/strength program to increase power in all facets of his game. This young prospect will continue to develop with time and we are excited to see where he can take his game.

09/12/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Lebanon (Nashville), TN Konner is a MIF prospect who continues to showcase his skills on the diamond. In the field, Konner shows active footwork and moves well laterally. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front with a firm glove. His exchange is clean and he gains ground well on his throws, keeping them on-line to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and takes a square stride. He gets into his load and drives through well with his lower half. He works through a level swing and sprays the ball to all fields. With three more years to develop, Konner has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Konner is a young and talented SS/RHP that will graduate in 2024. On offense, Konner sets up in a tall and open stance and gets his foot down on time to launch the swing. His mechanics are smooth as he uses his lower half well and creates good extension through contact showing plus power to the pull side. At SS, Konner gets a good jump to the ball with effective footwork showing plus range to the backhand side. He fields the ball square with soft hands and makes clean exchanges getting rid of the ball with a loose arm action. He delivers the throws online and with accuracy to the target. On the mound, Konner works with a 2-pitch FB/CB combo. The FB shows some life with arm side run and the CB has 11-5 action. His mechanics are balanced with good rhythm and keeps his eyes to the target. He gets a good stride length and finishes his throws. Konner shows that he can play multiple positions and will continue to grow and develop.

10/17/2020 - Fall Pro Training Experience - NC (HS) Konner is a SS/RHP prospect who continues to showcase his skills on the field. At SS, Konner fields the ball out in front of his body and has a clean exchange. He throws from a high 3/4 angle and keeps his throws accurate to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a tall stance and takes a soft stride. He gets his hands activated in his load and takes a smooth swing. He shows plus barrel control and sprays the ball to all fields. On the mound, Konner gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He stays inline toward the plate and finishes with his chest over his front knee. Konner shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 67mph with arm side run. Breaking ball sits from 57-59mph with 11-5 break. Changeup sits from 61-62mph with sinking action as he throws with deceptive arm speed. Overall, Konner is a talented prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

06/25/2020 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Nashville, TN Konner continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At SS, defensive abilities are now solid as he displays smooth/clean actions. Feet are active as attacks balls and plays through well with his body. Glove action is soft/sure and presents well out front. Throws are accurate with carry as he gets rid of the baseball quickly but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he continues to shine through a tall setup. Hands are quick and works through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields and shows a feel for the barrel. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently.

01/17/2020 - 2020 Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Konner is a coachable SS prospect who worked hard on his skills during the All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament. In the field, he takes a good first step and shows quick footwork. He gets into a low position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He makes a quick exchange and gains momentum well on his throws, keeping them accurate with carry through his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a square stride. He is fluid getting his hands activated in a smooth load and drives through well with his lower half. He takes a smooth swing with fast bat speed, leading to loud contact and gap to gap pop. Overall, Konner is a talented prospect who will be one to follow as he progresses.

12/27/2019 - Baseball Factory Winter Classic (Ages 12-14) Konner continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At SS, he displays smooth/athletic actions. Feet are active and plays through balls with his body. Glove action is clean but needs to present more out front. At the plate, he continues to shine through a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He makes consistent contact and has strength in his swing with power showing best to the pull side. At the event, he was 4 for 7 with a 2B. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 61-63 mph with tailing action. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with slight tail. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.

08/25/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Lebanon (Nashville), TN Konner showed nice all around upgrades during his last workout with The Factory. He increased radar velocity to 66 MPH, hitting grades spiked, and exit velocity increased to 72 MPH. At SS, Konner presents his glove well, his feet are active, and he moves with agility to the ball. He moves well laterally, makes plays consistently, and has a quick/accurate arm with carry through to his target. On the mound, Konner has good balance over the rubber and he separates his hands on time. He lands with good direction toward the plate and competes in the zone. At the plate, Konner is a strong/aggressive hitter with fast bat speed. He makes hard/consistent contact and he uses his lower body.

11/15/2018 - Baseball Factory Select Training & Competition at Pirate City (Ages 12-14) Konner is a coachable RHP/SS prospect who worked hard on his skills during his time at the Select Training & Competition at Pirate City. On the mound, Konner gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a clean arm and finishes with his chest over his front knee. Konner shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 60mph with cutting action. Breaking ball sits from 51-52mph with 11-5 break. Changeup sits from 53-54mph with sinking action as he throws with deceptive arm speed. Extending through his release more can help Konner improve as a pitcher. In the field, Konner shows efficient footwork and covers ground well. He fields with soft hands and makes a clean exchange, keeping his throws accurate and on-line to his target. Konner can improve defensively by fielding in a lower position. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and takes a short stride. He gets back into his load well and leads with his lower half. He takes a level swing with decent bat speed which leads to consistent contact to all fields. Konner can improve as a hitter by working a smoother rhythm into his load. With six more years to develop, Konner has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

08/26/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Lebanon (Nashville), TN Konner is a solid, athletic, 2-way player who plays SS and RHP. Defensively, Konner has active feet, he attacks aggressively, and fields in a square position. He has a clean exchange, and throws with carry and accuracy across the diamond. On the mound, Konner has a balanced delivery, he separates on time, and he lands with good direction toward home plate. Offensively, Konner has a tall/square set-up, he loads well, and he uses his lower body. He has good strength, works the ball gap to gap, and he makes solid contact. Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
