12/07/2014 - College PREP - Pensacola, FL Kristofer continues to work hard on his game. On the bump, he throws 3 pitches (FB, CB, CH) from a high 3/4 arm slot and loose/clean arm action. He works to a controlled balance point, gets good glove side lead and drives downhill toward the plate. The ball jumps out of his hand and gets on hitters. FB now cracks the mitt at 83 mph as he works both sides of the dish. Breaking ball has 1/7 shape with late/sharp break and tight spin. He throws his CH with FB arm speed which comes across deceptive to hitters. In the OF, Reber works quickly with solid routes/angles to the fly-ball. He secures the ball with 2-hands, gathers well, and has a clean transfer/exchange to throw. Offensively, he displays a balanced approach with rhythm to load. Swing path is level as he connects and hits line-drives to all parts of the field. More lower ½ drive will result in increased power at the plate. Kristopher has versatility and can make things happen on the diamond. He will compete and challenge hitters every time he toes the rubber.
