11/03/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Plano (DFW), TX Kyle is a young, solid, 2-way player who pitches and plays 3B. On the mound, Kyle has good balance over the rubber, he separates his hands on time, and he works well to his balance point. He keeps his eyes on target, has a controlled landing toward home, and competes in the zone. At 3B, Kyle has efficient footwork, he covers ground, and makes plays. He fields squarely, his exchange is clean, and he throws with accuracy from a short arm action across the diamond. Offensively, Kyle has a tall stance, a short/square stride, and good balance. He loads well, has a level/direct barrel, and he hits with strength to the pull side. Overall skills can further improve with work on the following.

1. Loosen AA
2. Off-speed
Infield

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
