07/07/2020 - 2020 Baseball Factory's National West Showcase Kyle is a 2021 RHP/OF who has skills at both spots with his highest ceiling appearing to be on the mound. He employs a drop and drive style delivery that led to a heavy fastball that touched 90 mph at the Baseball Factory West Showcase. In addition to the FB, Kyle thew two breaking balls - a slider with more horizontal break that sat in the low 80s and a curve with more downer action that was 74-77. Both were effective with some late break. He also mixed in a developing change as his 4th pitch. Defensively, Kyle profiles well in right field with an aggressive approach and plenty of arm (95 mph raw arm strength). He swings the bat from the left side with a line drive stroke and singled in the live at bats. It's easy to envision Kyle having success on the mound at higher levels and having another spike in velocity.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
