At the plate, Kyle starts in an open stance and loads his hands back into the drive position. He has smooth pre-pitch movements and uses his lower half to attack the ball. He has a good approach and makes consistent hard contact. Continuing to keep his chest behind the front knee at contact will allow him to stay behind the ball and not drift. Attacking the inside part of the ball and getting extension through contact will allow him to create backspin on the ball.
