01/18/2019 - 2019 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Kyle is a lean and talented 2019 SS prospect. At SS, Kyle is on time with his pre-step, he presents a low/early glove, and works from the ground up. He plays through his backhand and throws from multiple arm angles. At the plate, Kyle has a middle approach and attacks the inside part of the ball. He starts in an open stance, gets his front foot down on time, and creates rhythm in his hands. Kyle will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.

07/25/2018 - Under Armour Southwest Championships 17U, powered by Baseball Factory's Team One Kyle continues to show as a prospect on the diamond. In the MIF, defensive abilities are outstanding as he displays smooth fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as he attacks balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is soft and presents well out front. Range is a plus as he moves well laterally and covers a lot of ground. Hands / feet work well together as he gets rid of the baseball quickly with accuracy and zip (84 mph velocity) on his throws. At the plate, he continues to shine through an athletic setup. Hands are quick (89 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball utilizing all fields and has strength in his swing with gap-to-gap pop. Mental makeup may be his best tool as he plays the game the right way.

01/12/2018 - 2018 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Kyle is a talented R/R MIF who can make things happen. With the bat, he stands in tall with fluid rhythm to load. Swing is short/compact to and through the zone as he squares the ball up with pop, spraying line-drives. Defensively, he has active prep and works smoothly from right to left around the GB. Hands are soft and presented out in front, as he funnels to a clean transfer/exchange. He moves well laterally and can make the tough backhand play in the hole. Kyle (2019 grad) possesses the tools that will make an impact at the next level.

11/04/2017 - 2017 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's Futures Texas Kyle is an impressive athlete who patrolled the secondary on the football field Friday night before performing well at the BF UA Futures Texas event on the baseball field on Saturday. He's a versatile prospect who can play nearly anywhere on the field. His dependable hands and natural actions fit best at the premium position of SS. He is an instinctual defender with an efficient release and accurate arm to finish plays well. Kyle also showed well in the outfield where his athleticism is on display. At the plate Kyle has a simple RH stroke that leads to lots of line drive contact. He utilizes the whole field well, relying mainly on his upper body and quick hands to deliver the barrel to the ball. Overall, Kyle plays with excellent energy and has a high baseball IQ to go with his physical skill set. He does anything that is asked of him, making him the type of player that coaches like to have on their team. He will be a good addition to a college program and will be interesting to follow over the next few years.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
